Energy passes through you (conduit) to another person, place or thing every day. Harnessing energy is a lifelong endeavor. We all have energy in abundance. Even when you are tired and can't put one foot in front of the other, you have the ability to use energy to lift your spirits and ease your tired body in just a few minutes.<br /><br />If you are ready to just pass out from exhaustion and you notice that your candle flame is about to catch the curtains on fire, you spring into action with a burst of energy to put out the flame. That is your fight or flight response giving you energy to get up and do what you need to do so your house doesn't catch fire.<br /><br />I know, you are asking, what does that have to do with Reiki? Well, it doesn't have anything to do with Reiki, except it is merely an example of energy. Energy is what makes us grow, glow, run or smile. It makes us warm or cools us off.
